Kandi Burruss Throws Her Mother A ‘Harlem Nights’ Birthday Party

Kandi Burruss celebrated her mother, Mama Joyce, for her 75th birthday.

The singer threw her a lavish, “Harlem Nights” theme party to celebrate the milestone age. “We turned up for my mom’s bday!!! Thank you to everyone who came,” Kandi wrote under a reel recapping the event. “She had so much fun and seeing her smile meant everything to me!”

Burruss also went on to thank everyone who helped her make the night possible and memorable. “Thank you @dazzlemeparties for making the Harlem Nights themed Casino the best birthday ever for my mom! & Thank you @Kennylattimore for hitting the stage for my mom.”

In another post, she expressed her happiness on how successful the party was and also shared what she wore for the night. “It was an awesome Harlem Renaissance Casino Night for my mom’s bday! We had a time!!!”

Mama Joyce was introduced to the world after appearing on a few episodes of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and made a name for herself for giving her opinions on Kandi’s relationship with her husband, Todd Tucker.

She has not been on the show which is expected ever since Kandi announced that she would not be returning to the show after 14 seasons. “I decided I’m not coming back this year,” she said while on a red carpet back in February. “I’m going to take a break, I’m going to take a moment… I’m not coming back this year.”
